ESSENCE OF WINTER

The title is “Essence of Winter”, and that was exactly how I felt about it when I painted it.  It represents to me, how winter used to be when I was a child.  (Well, maybe the horse and sleigh were a bit before my time!)  Skating with my siblings and friends, or tobogganing on the nearby hill.  A nice, bright, cold winter day in the country, where I have lived most of my life.  It brings back memories to me, and I hope it reminds others of fun winter days.
