Renée De Gagné’s soul is somewhere between Montreal, Paris and New York and seems to belong to those cities.  Her work is drenched in those metropolises’ atmosphere and she has a quasi-instinctive mastery of the games the light plays through the buildings; glass, metal and concrete acting as the infinite prism through which the sun and life itself is reflected within those megalopolises.
