About the Artist
Nicole laporte was born in Montreal, currently living in Rigaud, Quebec.
Interested in drawing from an early age, it is only in 1980 that she seriously became interested in oil painting.
She studied at the workshop of of painter Marcel Bourbonnais and at Raymonde Lebel’s painting school.
She has, for the last few years, concentrated her research on color and on scenes of the everyday life of children of a time gone by.
