IRIS

Inspired by my memories of traveling to China, dazzled by its harmonious gardens and the splendor of the drawings that adorn its silks, I represented the iris for its simple lines, pure and upright.

During the execution of the painting, the research was based on the integration of the flower in relation to the circle representing the cycle of life in perpetual evolution and rebirth, a symbol omnipresent in all cultures and of all time.

Creating a soothing and mysterious space was the goal.

I invite the viewer to project himself in this painting to feel a well-being, an appeasement and a serenity.
