Louise Lauzon was born in Montreal on March 8, 1956. From the age of fifteen, hes talent was recognized by Brother Jerome, friend and collaborator of Paul-Émile Borduas. Heir to the innovative educational approach of Brother Jerome, she hosted for over twenty years painting workshops at Notre Dame College, because in addition to meeting the need to create, she is a great theorist who has a solid expertise in history of contemporary art. She is still passionate about everything concerning the current world of art.
Louise Lauzon has always lived her art, combining creation and animation. Her first exhibitions including one in Paris in 1981, put career back on track
Several of her works are part of important collections in Canada, the United States and Europe. Since 1975, there have been countless public places and galleries where she has exhibited. Today her network of galleries is more selective and we consider ourselves very fortunate to count among our regular artists and faithful. Her artistic production makes us happy and brings a “lil air of freshness” in our gallery throughout the year.
