Diane Brunet was born, raised and still lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Plastic Arts from the Université du Québec á Montréal.
Brunet paints the everyday lives of women, in the streets of Montréal and in the vineyards of Europe.
She takes a light-hearted look at life in its daily routines and relations between people.
The bright bold colours of her canvasses enhance the kindness and joy in her characters faces.
Brunet and has illustrated children’s books, and has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. She has received numerous honours and awards, including “Grand Prize” at the “Festival of the Arts” in Saint-Sauveur, Québec.
Her work is included in many private and corporate collections in Canada, the United States, and France.
