SOPHIE PAQUET<\/strong><\/p>\n

Born in Sherbrooke in 1963, Sophie Paquet is a Quebec artist who\u2019s been a fixture in art galleries all over the country for over twenty five years.<\/p>\n

Sophie Paquet became interested in arts at an early age. She studied arts throughout her youth and won several awards. Sophie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts from Laval University in 1985, after which she returned for some additional training in graphic arts.<\/p>\n

Sophie Paquet experiments constantly with new ways to use her chosen media, acrylic and oil pastel, to emphasize the depth and texture of her floral subjects. Variety and asymmetry are married harmoniously in her dynamic compositions. Through her brush, paintings burst with generous amounts of energy, spontaneity and freshness.<\/p>\n
