He studied with A. Bonham in Quebec City and in Paris. He was influenced by Horatio Walker, Andre Bieler, and Robert Pilot. He travelled and painted in England, Ireland, Newfoundland, and Quebec. He was especially inspired by the Island of Orleans and the region of Charlevoix.<\/p>\n<p>Using different mediums he is known for his rosy-hued landscapes, Quebec City scenes, and nudes. He moved to Montreal in 1943.
