Life in a big city certainly is not for everyone. The constant activity of a moving metropolis can be stressful for many but, for those whole love the bustling atmosphere, a city is a place of constant renewal with endless possibilities.<\/p>\n

For Ren\u00e9e de Gagn\u00e9, the city is a muse.\u00a0 As she states herself :<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0My work as an artist mainly concentrates on our architectural heritage. \u00a0\u00a0As an artist, I feel privileged to act as a \u201cgo beteween\u201d, to bring the spectator to a different vision of the city and to reflect on the importance of of architecture. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Here, we feature five pieces that show the preoccupations of this rising artist.<\/p>\n

We also present a few pieces by Roland Palmaerts who has, for many years, used the city as his own inspiration.<\/p>\n
